Here are the ANZAC Day photos as promised. The students did a fantastic job. I've included their comments as they are hard to read on photos. Term 2 posts. Leading Senior Constable Millin came to visit and taught us all about the police. We got to dress up in police uniforms and sit in a police car. We loved it!! Some firemen came to visit the preps and teach us how to be safe. We learned that if there is a fire in our school or house we should get down low and go, go, go! The firemen showed us the equipment they have to wear to fires and we got to have a go at the fire hose! We made bread rolls when we were reading the story of The Little Red Hen. We had to mix the ingredients, knead the dough, let it rise, knead the dough again ad make the rolls, let it rise again, and then cook it. We also made our own butter by shaking cream and marbles in a jar. We put our own butter on the rolls and got to eat them while they were still warm. It was so yummy!
